Why should I refer a colleague?
As a fellow professional, you respect your colleagues and their abilities and are motivated to help them to find interesting and challenging assignments in the future, possibly working alongside you on a B & M contract.
Who can I refer?
Anyone who has technical skills on UNIX or IBM mainframe platforms, or who has communications, storage or security skills (look at more technical details). You must seek the permission of the person being referred.
How many people can I refer?
There is no limit - you will receive a reward for each successful referral.
How do I make a recommendation?
Please contact the HR Team and they will do the rest!
Will this referral be treated sensitively?
Yes, we will take great care when and how to contact the specialist and all matters will be treated confidentially.
Why does B & M need referrals?
Our business is all about people - good people. It is not always easy to find good people. You know when you have worked with specialists who you respect technically and who get on well with those around them. That gives you a distinct advantage over B & M because there is no substitute for personal recommendation.
What will be my reward?
For each specialist referred that meets the qualifying conditions we will send you a luxury Fortnum & Mason hamper* with our compliments.
To where will my reward be sent?
Hampers will be sent to your home address.
Is there anything else?
* The following conditions apply:
- The specialist that you refer must not be already registered with B & M.
- The specialist must be skilled in at least one B & M key skill area.
- The placement by B & M is within one year of your introduction of the specialist.
- The referred specialist has been working on assignment continuously for at least one month and the B & M Account Manager has confirmed with the customer that all is well.
- As with everything in business, circumstances may change. Accordingly, B & M reserve this right to alter or withdraw this scheme without notice.
