Summary: One of our clients, a household name in a specialist industry, is seeking an SQL/DB2 DBA to build, support and maintain production, test and development databases and provide architectural expertise in an AIX & Linux environment. This is an opportunity to join a highly motivated team that seek to excel in all areas of their technical expertise. You will work with both business users and project teams across the organisation to advise them on the deployment and use of database software, architecture, design and security. You will have in-depth knowledge of DB2, AIX and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of HADR or HACMP as well as experience working with storage layouts and possibly some knowledge of z/OS.
