This policy is reviewed annually and is managed at Board level.

Reuse

• Reuse existing materials internally where possible:
• use scrap paper for printing internal documents
• use old business cards for notes
• Send used laser print cartridges to recycling centres for the benefit of charities.
• Donate redundant computer equipment to charities or send to be reconditioned for use in third-world countries.

Save Resources

• Select energy efficient appliances (light bulbs / white goods).
• Reduce energy consumption where practical.
• Cycle to work where practical.
• Do not leave taps running.
• Use dual-flush toilet facilities (where provided).

Recycle Waste

• Recycle waste through facilities provided by our landlords and the local authority.
• Compost shredder waste.

Procurement

• Ensure that our suppliers of goods and services take account of environmental criteria.

Legislation

• Comply with environmental legislation
• Meet or exceed government standards.
