Best Practice for Training and Development

B & M has a policy of continuous IT training and development for our consultants, specialists and in-house staff, with each person's training and development needs assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Training
For the consultant or specialist, training comes from the following sources:

B & M led
  • external courses
  • external seminars
  • in-house sessions with the B & M Technical Manager

    Customer led
  • either internal or external courses

    Specialist led
  • external courses that the specialist procures directly
    • For B & M staff, technical training is given in-house by our Technical Manager and we often source training from professional training providers to ensure the professional development of our roster specialists.

      Development
We are committed to ensuring the professional development of our staff and consultants and ensure that each individual undertakes a programme of continuous professional development, whether on a contract or not. We believe that, whether someone is employed or sub-contracted by B & M, the long-term nature of the relationship is of primary importance. Many of our specialists have received continuous assignments for over 5 years and have continued to develop skills throughout this time.
